We are committed to providing our residents with plenty of opportunities to get involved, to help shape, influence and improve the services we deliver and offer a number of different ways for you to do this - many of which only require you to invest a small amount of time but can help to make a big difference.

Your knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting you, your families and your neighbours, could be invaluable in making sure we focus our attention and efforts on the things that matter most to you.

Volunteering also offers a range of fantastic personal benefits - find out more about these and take our interactive quiz to find out which of our volunteering opportunities is right for you.

Even if volunteering with us isn’t for you, there are still lots of ways you can get involved and help to make a difference...

Become a memberAnyone can become a member of Fife Housing Group, as long as you are aged 16 and over (if you are a tenant) or over 18 (if you are not a tenant). All you need to do is purchase a £1 share in Fife Housing Group and have your application agreed by our Board of Management.

Membership entitles you to attend member events and our Annual General Meeting. It is also a useful first step to becoming a Board Member or a member of other groups such as Resident VOICES.
Form a community groupWe encourage you to have a say in the services and issues which affect your home and neighbourhood. One way of becoming involved is to join a Residents’ Association. If there isn’t one in your area why not help to start one? We would be more than happy to provide you with any assistance and support you require to do this.
Come along to one of our community eventsJoin us at one of our community events where you can find out more about the services we deliver, local issues and any changes that are taking place in the community.
Take part in surveys and consultationsEvery couple of years we carry out a major tenant satisfaction survey to find out what your views are about your home and our services. We also carry out regular short surveys, often by text, to find out how your repair or planned maintenance went.

Additionally, as a tenant or other customer, you have the right to be consulted if we plan to:

- Make any changes to the way we manage your home or deliver services
- Increase your rent and/or service charge
- Transfer the ownership of your home to another landlord
- Extend the performance targets we set
- Change how we consult you or what we consult you about
- Demolish your home as part of a renewal strategy

When we consult you, we will aim to give you sufficient information and enough time to comment on our plans.

We really want to hear your views and appreciate you taking the time to respond to these surveys and consultations.
