We are delighted to be one of the few Housing Associations in Scotland to have successfully achieved the internationally acknowledged Investors in People (IIP) Platinum Accreditation.
With a framework designed to help leaders, employees and companies work together to create an effective environment, the Platinum Award represents a true commitment to best practice. It also recognises our understanding that our colleagues are our most valuable asset and acknowledges our commitment to investing in, supporting and developing the people and teams within the organisation who make a difference for our tenants and other customers every day.
In 2020, we were very proud to again be recognised as one of the top not-for-profit employers in the country. Coming in at 32 on ‘The Sunday Times 100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations To Work For’ list, making us one of the Top 50 organisations of any type to work for in Scotland and one of the Top 25 housing organisations in the whole of the UK.
Additionally, we were awarded a two-star accreditation by Best Companies, showing how seriously we take workplace engagement and sending a powerful message that our colleagues feel both valued and motivated.
In recent times, we have also been a finalist in the CIH excellence awards for ‘Housing Team of the Year’, the Margaret Vass Award for ‘Excellence in Frontline Housing’ and the Fife Business Awards for ‘Excellence in People Development’, as well as being shortlisted for ‘Charity Champion of the Year’ in the Dunfermline Press Community Champion Awards.
