A Residents Association is a community group made up of local people who have a common interest; to improve their community for the benefit of those who live within it.
The enthusiasm and commitment from the residents who attended this relaxed and friendly meeting was really encouraging, demonstrating how keen people are to influence decisions which may have a direct impact on them.
The strength and success of this Residents Association lies in the involvement of local people. This is your opportunity to help make improvements in the areas which are important to you and it is hoped, that with good attendance, this group will represent a voice for the whole community.
The first public meeting will be held on Thursday 30 March at Lumphinnans Bowling Club, from 6pm – 7.30pm, and we would like to extend a warm welcome to any other residents of Lumphinnans who might be interested in getting involved.
For further information on joining the Lumphinnans Residents Association, or starting one of your own in another area, please contact our Engagement Officer, Helen Miller, directly on 01383 608127 or via helen.miller@fifehg.org.uk.
