We’ve been made aware that scam callers are contacting tenants again, claiming to be calling on behalf of Fife Housing Group.

Previously, these calls were about damp and mould, but they are now also asking about general repairs. Some of these calls are coming from London-based phone numbers.

Please be extra careful. We will only ever contact you directly, or through approved contractors we have already advised you about. Always check who you’re speaking to before sharing personal details and ask to see ID before letting anyone into your home. If someone contacts you about damp, mould or repairs and you’re unsure, do not give out any information.

Instead, contact us directly on 08000 274 007 or speak to your Housing Officer to check they are who they say they are. Be alert and stay safe.
