How we deal with antisocial behaviour (ASB)

We want our homes and communities to be pleasant and secure places to live and we want the people who stay in them to be able to enjoy their homes peacefully.

We expect our tenants to respect and understand the different values and lifestyles of others. We also expect them to act reasonably and with consideration. However, everyone has different tolerance levels. This means that some issues which are an annoyance may not be classed as antisocial behaviour (ASB).

On this page, you will shortly be able to find information on:

  • What we consider antisocial behaviour and what we don’t
  • What we can and cannot do
  • Where you can get further advice

Whether or not something is classed as ASB can depend on the level and persistence of the issue. However, we have highlighted some commonly reported problems and their usual classification below. Please click on the individual issue for further information and advice.
